THE ROLE OF PANELMATE - TOP PERFORMING HURRICANE FASTENERSThese hurricane anchors have been specifically designed for the quick and easy application of hurricane shutter anchoring with a variety of materials such as concrete block or wood.
PANELMATE KEEPING UP WITH THE DEMANDSWhile originally only available as male or female anchors the increase in availability of materials and the variation in climate in different areas created the need for an increase in selection. For jobs demanding the need for direct mount shutters, it means relying on any of the three choices of protruding connections or from the additional 3 choices of the countersunk design.

If the project is demanding the need of non-protruding connections, then choosing PanelMate Female D in either carbon steel or stainless steel would be the best choice with lengths between 2 5/8” to 5 ½” as required. The PanelMate Inserts are also available but only in the carbon steel with lengths of 1 5/8” and 2/8”.
WOOD ONLY PROJECTS:For these jobs that require the protruding style, the PanelMate Storm Panel Anchoring System is the anchor of choice available in carbon steel or stainless steel in 2 ¼” lengths.
THROUGH BRICK TO STRUCTURAL MEMBERS:Protruding connectors available for these projects is the PanelMate Pro TVAS in 7 3/8” in the choice of carbon steel or stainless steel. For non-protruding, it would be the PanelMate Female TVAS also available in 7 3/8” in either carbon steel or stainless steel. If the project is comprised of a track attachment for either accordion or roll up shutters, then the PanelMate TVAS Hex is available in the 7 3/8” length only in the carbon steel.
